Building Partnerships for Sustainable Future

The successful conclusion of PLASTINDIA 2026 (5-10 February 2026) marked a significant milestone for India's integrated petrochemical narrative, as ONGC, OPaL, and MRPL came together to present a unified, energy value chain - from exploration and refining to advanced petrochemicals.

The Pavilion attracted strong interest, highlighting the strength of integration in driving sustainable growth and supporting the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. The pavilion was inaugurated by Shri Gurinder Singh, MD, OPaL, along in the presence of Shri Sanjay Varma, Director - Marketing & Corporate Strategy, OPaL, and Shri Girish K. Rao, Chief General Manager (Marketing - Direct Sales), MRPL, setting the tone for a week of collaboration and customer engagement.

The Pavilion was honoured by the visit of Shri Kapil Verma, Director, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. Shri Sanjay Bharti, Director - Finance & Commercial and CFO, OPaL, further strengthened engagement through close customer interactions. Senior representatives from MRPL and ONGC, including Shri Shankar Sharan, Group General Manager (Production) - Head Refining & Petrochemicals, ONGC, also participated actively, highlighting the strength of the Group's collective presence.

The pavilion was further honoured by the visit of Shri H. K. Srivastava, Executive Director - GAIL (Mktg-PC), who engaged with senior officials and showed keen interest in the integrated petrochemical offerings, discussing industry trends, value-chain synergies, and the evolving role of petrochemicals in India's growth.

Across six days, the pavilion emerged as a vibrant platform for meaningful interactions with customers, partners and industry stakeholders. The integrated showcase highlighted how seamless coordination across upstream, midstream and downstream operations strengthens supply chains, enables advanced materials and supports India's rapidly evolving manufacturing ecosystem.

A key highlight was the launch of OPaLene HDPE B48H02U, developed for Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC), which drew strong customer interest and technical discussions-reflecting OPaL's focus on application-driven innovation.

Over six days, the pavilion served as a dynamic platform for engaging with customers and stakeholders, showcasing how seamless integration across the value chain enables advanced materials, strengthens supply chains, and supports India's manufacturing ecosystem.
