Shri Gurinder Singh joined OPaL as Managing Director on 16^th August 2022.

Shri Singh has over three decades of experience in the Petrochemical Industry with expertise in Marketing, International Business, Product Management, Govt/Regulatory Liaison, Supply Chain Management, and Managing Profitability/Cash Flow for petrochemical operations based on technology, feedstock, and marketing operations. Shri Singh has rich experience in Trade Remedial Measures, Starting New Operations, Managing JVs, etc.

Before joining OPaL, Shri Singh has been working with Reliance International Limited, Abu Dhabi, UAE as Senior Vice President & Head - Petrochemicals. He has worked for more than 15 years with Reliance Industries Limited and its other subsidiaries. He had started with erstwhile NOCIL and has also worked with Borouge Pte Limited and Tricon Energy.

Shri Singh is an Engineering Graduate from Regional Engineering College, Rourkela, Odisha, and has done his Masters in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. He has also undertaken Management Development Programmes from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, INSEAD France, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and Duke University, USA.

Shri Atul Kumar Chaturvedi has joined OPaL as Director - Finance & Commercial and CFO on 01st July 2024.

Shri Chaturvedi has over 37 years of distinguished expertise in Corporate Financial Management, Accounts, Commercial Operations, Marketing, Joint Venture projects, Business Development (M&A), and Business Restructuring. His career is marked by extensive engagement with both internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, ministries, and Parliamentary Committees. Shri Chaturvedi is known for formulating impactful financial policies and presenting strategic proposals to management and the Board, coupled with his influential role in policy advocacy with the Government.

Prior to joining OPaL, Shri Chaturvedi served as the Financial Advisor of ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL), focusing on pivotal financial matters, corporate finance, treasury management, and spearheading business restructuring and M&A initiatives.

His journey began in 1989 when he joined ONGC organization as Finance and Accounts Officer, subsequently holding various key roles such as Chief (Commercial & Treasury), Head (Corporate Finance), Head (Tax & Treasury), and contributing as a Board Member for several international ONGC/OVL projects, rising to the level of Executive Director before superannuating in November 2022.

A distinguished Chartered Accountant from the 1986 batch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Shri Chaturvedi is recognized for his steadfast commitment to a solution-driven approach, consistently achieving business objectives within stringent timelines. He possesses exceptional proficiency in analyzing complex scenarios and mitigating risks through effective strategic execution. His expertise extends to legal analysis, contract negotiations, and fostering a culture of quality delivery and team inspiration.

Mr. Rakesh Johari has joined OPaL as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer with effect from 14 th June 2024.

With over 22 years of extensive experience in Secretarial, Corporate Finance, and Insurance across both listed and unlisted companies, Mr. Johari brings a wealth of expertise in Corporate Governance, Statutory Filings, Legal Affairs, Taxation (both Indirect and Direct), Insurance Management, and Treasury/Fund Management.

Prior to his tenure at OPaL, Mr. Johari served as the Company Secretary & Compliance Officer (DGM) at Munjal Auto Industries Limited, a prominent entity listed on both BSE and NSE and part of the Hero Moto Corp Group.

Mr. Rakesh Johari is a distinguished Company Secretary and a qualified Cost & Chartered Accountant (CA & ICWA). He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Commerce, along with a Licentiate from the Insurance Institute of India, New Delhi, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Security Analysis and Portfolio Management.
