Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) -2021 was observed with the theme 'Independent India @ 75 – Self-Reliance
with Integrity' at ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) from 26
th October to 1
st November 2021. The week began
with integrity pledge administrating at OPaL. E-pledge was taken by employees through OPaL’s website. To get a
wider reach for integrity message, e-posters were sent to all employees via mail and were also circulated to all the
vendors of OPaL. Similarly, SMSs were sent to all OPaL employees during the week.
In the corporate office in Vadodara, Dahej plant and zonal offices, banners, standees and posters with the anti-corruption messages and VAW-2021 theme were displayed. To actively engage employees, various activities like webinars, online quiz competitions and slogan competitions were organized at OPaL. Webinar on Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Information Resolution, 2004, (PIDPI) was organized. OPaL employees also got to participate in the webinar organized by ONGC on Vigilance Awareness Week.
As an outreach initiative to create awareness and to spread the message of honesty and integrity far and wide, webinars were conducted for students of Shri Shri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Anand (CBSE School) and M S University of Vadodara. Jr. MHRM. These sessions received positive response from the students. E-posters were displayed at various empaneled Hotels of OPaL situated in Vadodara and Bharuch.
A campaign on VAW was launched on social media handles of OPaL, where messages related integrity and anticorruptions were shared. In the same line, web banner was also displayed on OPaL’s corporate website.
During all the VAW activities, COVID appropriate behavior was followed and all the prescribed precautionary
measures were followed.
