OPaL Celebrates India’s 76th Republic Day with Pride

On India’s 76th Republic Day, ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) celebrated “Swarnim Bharat – Virasat aur Vikas” with a flag unfurling ceremony at its Dahej plant. The event was attended by key leaders, including Shri Gurinder Singh – Managing Director, Shri Atul Kumar Chaturvedi – Director – Finance, Shri Sanjay Varma – Director – Marketing, Shri Arup Jhampri – Chief Operating Officer, and department heads.
In his speech, Shri Gurinder Singh praised the Indian Constitution, emphasizing the remarkable efforts of the 299 members of the Constituent Assembly who overcame significant challenges to create a transformative national blueprint. He highlighted the Constitution’s role in promoting inclusivity and gender equality and encouraged employees to take personal responsibility in contributing to society.
Shri Singh also recognized OPaL’s collective achievements, noting the company’s progress in becoming one of the leading petrochemical companies in India and Asia.
The event featured a vibrant Nirikshan parade, showcasing the discipline of OPaL’s security, fire, 5S teams, long with the armed SRP platoons. Security Jawans were honored for their contributions, and employees received Excellence and Appreciation Awards for their outstanding work. The celebrations concluded with a dynamic taekwondo display, bhangra performance, and live music and singing performances.
This Republic Day celebration reaffirmed OPaL’s commitment to a culture of innovation, responsibility, and collaboration, reinforcing the company’s mission to achieve even greater success in the years ahead.
