OPaL Teams Shine at the 39th National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC) 2025

OPaL achieved a significant milestone at the 39th National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC) 2025, held at Greater Noida and organized by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) Headquarters. The convention is a prestigious national platform that showcases innovative case studies and best practices across various Total Quality Management (TQM) concepts.

Demonstrating OPaL’s strong commitment to quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, four teams from OPaL participated virtually in the TQM–5S case study competitions. Competing alongside organizations from across the country, the teams presented impactful initiatives that reflected their dedication, teamwork, and innovative problem-solving capabilities.

All four OPaL teams received recognition for their outstanding performance. The “OHC – 5S Ninjas” Team and the “Central Lab/CTS – 5S Enhancer” Team were honored with the prestigious “Par Excellence” Award, acknowledging their exemplary implementation of 5S practices and quality initiatives. The “PP – Together We Rise” Team and the “PWH – 5S Hercules” Team were conferred with the “Excellence” Award for their commendable contributions towards workplace organization and process improvement.

The awards, received virtually from NCQC, were formally presented to the teams at OPaL by Shri Arup Jhampri, Chief Operating Officer, in the presence of Shri Lalitesh Kumar, Head – Polymer; Shri Vikas Agarwal, Head – U&O; Shri Rajeev Vijay, Head – Maintenance; and Shri G. Moolnarayan, Head – CTS and Head – Cracker (Additional Charge).

These achievements reflect OPaL’s unwavering focus on fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. The recognition also highlights the dedication of OPaL teams and the continued support of its leadership in driving quality and improvement initiatives across the organization.
