OPaL Observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2020

Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) -2020 was observed with the theme 'Vigilant India, Prosperous India' at ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) from 27th October to 2nd November 2019. The week started with administrating of the integrity pledge at OPaL. E-pledge was taken by employees through OPaL’s website. Teasers were sent through the mail to all employees and circulated amongst all the vendors of OPaL. SMSs were sent to all OPaL Employees throughout the week sensitizing them against corruption. Banners, standees and posters with anti-corruption messages and VAW-2020 theme - 'Vigilant India, Prosperous India' were displayed across OPaL. To actively engage employees and create awareness, various activities such as webinars, online quiz and slogan competitions were organized. During the week various webinars were organized for the employees. First in the series was Shri Hitendra Soneji's (Corporate Trainer) session on the theme 'Vigilant India, Prosperous India'. In the following days, webinars on MM Procedure and CDA rules were organized by Shri Atul Metha, Manager-MM, and Shri Ashish Nair, Sr. Manager-HR, respectively. All the webinars received an overwhelming response from employees
In a unique outreach initiative to create awareness, OPaL's E-posters were displayed at various empanelled Hotels. Similarly, to spread the message of honesty and integrity far and wide, Webinars on theme Vigilant India, Prosperous India was organized for students of Shri Shri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Anand (CBSE School), and for the students of Parul University. Around 100 students in schools and around 120 students in college have attended the said webinar. Also various E-Posters were displayed at various empanelled hotels. Due to the prevailing COVID 19 situation, this year's VAW activities were organized with full adherence to the prescribed precautionary measures. Social distancing was followed during pledge administration while all the awareness sessions were conducted online
