OPaL Celebrates the 79th Independence Day: Honouring Freedom, Inspiring the Future

At OPaL, the 79th Independence Day was commemorated with pride, unity, and a deep sense of purpose. The national flag was ceremoniously hoisted by Shri Gurinder Singh, Managing Director, whose inspiring address reminded all OPaLians that "Independence is not just a day to celebrate, it is a responsibility we carry every day." He urged everyone to contribute to nation-building through excellence, innovation, and teamwork.

The ceremonial parade, led by Shri Chetan Sonawane, featured our security jawans, fire personnel, SRPF jawans, and 5S Eco Shramveers. Following the parade, OPaL honoured its vigilant security team with appreciation certificates in recognition of their exemplary dedication and outstanding service.

The celebration was further enriched with vibrant cultural performances: The traditional Ghoomar from Rajasthan Soulful songs like "Padaro Mere Desh" and the stirring Gurkha Paltan tribute Skits on Operation Sindoor by school children, mesmerizing flute recitals, group songs, and a high-energy Bhangra finale.

Academic excellence was celebrated as well, with certificates and trophies awarded to the children of employees who excelled in their Class 10th & 12th board exams. Winners of the Indoor Games Tournament 2025 were also felicitated-fostering a spirit of motivation and pride.

Independence Day at OPaL is more than remembering history, it's about living its values. Every performance, every cheer, and every award reflected unity, excellence, and inspiration for the future.
