71st Republic Day Celebrated at OPaL

ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) celebrated 71st Republic Day with the unfurling of the national flag by the Chief Guest Shri Avinash Verma, Managing Director - OPaL. Security, Fire & Armed SRP platoons presented a ceremonial parade. Shri Avinash Verma addressed the employees and their families on the occasion and appreciated their efforts for achieving 100% production capacity utilization in a very short period. He has also shared the long-term vision of the company and ensured the employees that OPaL will be reckoned as one of the most admirable Petrochemical Company in India & Asia at large. The employees and their families enjoyed the event wholeheartedly. Splendid performances of UAC (Un-armed Combat) was demonstrated by Security Team, another demonstration showcased various Self-Defence techniques for women’s Safety which received appreciation from the crowd present at event. In the event, OPaL awarded cheques of Rs 15k to schools from village Ambetha and Suva for their performance at Republic day function at OPaL Dahej
Security Infra Exhibition:
A separate section was created in parade ground for the upcoming gate - infra project of OPaL security - which includes security gadgets of access control and video surveillance system. MD-OPaL was briefed by Shri Mukesh Thapliyal, In-charge Security and team about the displayed gadgets in exhibition. Gadgets like DFMD, Tripod/Turnstile with FP reader, Crash-rated Bollard & Boom Barrier, IRIS Module were kept to make employees and other familiar with upcoming system of Access control. The event had a perfect mix of entertainment and information and awareness which all the attendees enjoyed.
