OPaL Celebrates 73rd Republic Day

Shri Verma addressed the gathering after the ceremonial parade. He began his speech by extending greetings for 73rd Republic Day and highlighted the way India has treaded the path of development for last many years. While speaking about OPaL, Shri Verma pointed, “Year 2021 has been a phenomenal year for OPaL. In the first 9 months, we reported net profit in every quarter. It is a remarkable achievement.” He further added, “I am extremely confident that the performance of year 21-22 will be up to the mark while meeting our cash obligations.” speaking on OPaL’s strengths, he shared, “Our plant, our products and our people have the capability to take this company to its deserved place”.

While shedding light on the company’s immediate goals, Shri Verma said, “after the mega turn around (MTA) process is completed, OPaL's production and capacity will get revitalized.” He further added that the process initiated for Debottlenecking is taking a definite shape and form. Without deploying much investment, we are aiming to increase the capacity of many units from 110% to 130% and we are looking to complete the process by FY 2022-23.” 

While concluding Shri Verma said, “Our Company is very close to establishing itself as a strong company in the petrochemical sector. We are moving ahead with future growth plans and resolve to achieve our goals in time bound manner.”

Later during the event, Excellence Awards and appreciation awards in various categories were announced for several departments and security personnel. The newly constructed Gate no. 3 & 4 of the OPaL plant were formally inaugurated by MD-OPaL and Sri Manoj Srivastava, President - OPaL.
