Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav celebrated at OPaL

“Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav”, was celebrated on 12th March, 2022 at ONGC Petro additions Limited Dahej. On this Occasion, Shri S. S. Chauhan, Dy. Chief Labour Commissioner (C), Sh. Sagar Pradhan, Regional Labour Commissioner (C), Sh. Dhirendra Kumar Meena, Assistant PF Commissioner, Bharuch, along with other officers were present.
All the dignitaries interacted with participants through various sessions and presentations. Shri Sagar Pradhan and Shri Dhirendra Kumar Meena, conducted sessions on general awareness pertaining to workers’ rights under various labour laws, compliances and responsibilities of employers under various labour laws, employee PF related issues, etc. During his session, Shri S. S. Chauhan encouraged workers to take full benefits of various government schemes designed especially for workers to further improve their quality of living.
Shri Manoj Srivastava, President–OPaL, the guest of honour of the event, spoke during the event. He said that OPaL always treats its workforce as business partners and is fully compliant to Labour laws and workers’ rights. He further added that during the COVID 19 lockdown, OPaL provided shelter and food to more than 700 workers within the company. He assured that OPaL will organise awareness sessions at regular interval for the benefit of the workers. The event was a huge success as a large number of workers and engineer In-charges attended the event and interacted with the panellists.Â
The event was organised under the guidance of office of Dy. Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Gandhinagar.
