Strengthening Fight against COVID-19 OPaL Donates 12 Lakh to Narhari Hospital

ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) on Tuesday, 13 October 2020, donated Rs. 12 Lakh to Narhari Hospital Vadodara to procure a ventilator for the treatment of underprivileged COVID 19 patients. The cheque was handed over by Shri Avinash Verma, MD-OPaL to Shri Ashish Parikh, Managing Trustee of Narhari Hospital in the presence of Shri Rajendra Desai, Secretary, Narhari Hospital, Shri Pradosh Kumar Basu, CFO, Smt Vimla Nigania, Head-HR, Shri A B Karmakar, Head-MM, Shri Hemant Nautiyal, GM-Marketing and Shri Subodh Prasad Pankaj, Company Secretary

Since the outbreak, the hospital has initiated its fight against COVID19 by creating a capacity to house 100 COVID patients at a time with normal support of Oxygen at a very reasonable rate. The hospital was in urgent need of additional 5 units of ventilators along with central monitoring system. The approximate per unit cost comes to Rs. 12 lakh. OPaL handed the cheque worth Rs. 12 Lakh to the hospital authorities to procure 1 unit of ventilator. OPaL has been on the forefront in the fight against COVID 19 and has extended its support to various authorities as well as distributed essential goods in villages of Bharuch district.
